Green Bird Rezept

Zutaten

Für prepared meatballs
  • 4   prepared meatballs 
  • 1   large roasted red pepper 
  • 3   hard cooked eggs 
  • 4   oz. chunk cheddar cheese 
  • 10   large black pitted olives 
  • 2   Tbs. cream cheese 
  • 1   slice yellow American cheese 
  • 1   slice white American cheese 
  • 2   slices part-skim mozzarella cheese 
  • 2   drops green food coloring 
  • 1   teaspoon water 
  • 1   stalk celery with leaves attached 
  • 2   oz. spinage spaghetti, cooked and drained —please have a couple of brands to show different color (green colored)

Cover another meatball with 1 slice mozzarella cheese. Place on microwave-safe dish and cook in microwave at HIGH 10 to 15 seconds, just until cheese melts around meatball and assumes its shape

Combine green fold color and water in small bowl. Brush onto meatball covered with mozzarella cheese to color it

Cut "eyes" from egg whites using large round pastry tip (Ateco # 806). Trim to make slightly oval shapes. Cut another piece of egg white with large round tip and brush with green color to make nose”. Cut thin strips from an olive to make eyebrows”. Cut irises” from an olive with small round pastry tip (Wilton #5). Cut teeth” from egg white using round pastry tip (Wilton #12). Attach facial features using small dollops of cream cheese

Cut ears” from remaining mozzarella slice with round pastry tip (Wilton #14). Brush with green color and attach with toothpicks
