Jerk Burgers

Zutaten
- Makes 6 servings
- 2 lb. ground beef
- ¼ cup dried onion flakes
- 4 tsp. each, thyme and garlic powder
- 2 tsp. allspice
- ½ tsp. each cayenne pepper and cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup mango chutney, like Crosse & Blackwell Major Grey’s
- 2 mangoes, diced
- ½ cup each, diced red pepper and scallion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 lime, zested and juiced
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- 6 hamburger buns
- 6 curly leaf lettuce leaves
- 1 large cucumber, sliced
- 2 large tomatoes, cut into wedges
- ½ small red onion, sliced
- 2 Tbs. each low fat salad dressing and chopped parsley
- 12 mini pickles, like Mt

- In bowl, combine ground meat, onion flakes, thyme, garlic powder, allspice, cayenne pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg. While mixing, add ¼ cup warm water. Shape into 6 patties
- 2.
- In bowl, stir together mayonnaise and chutney. Set aside
- 3.
- In bowl, combine mango, red pepper, scallion, garlic, ½ tsp. lime zest, 2 Tbs. lime juice, cilantro and cayenne. Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper, if desired

- Toss together cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, dressing and parsley
- 5.
- Heat grill. Grill buns briefly to toast. Cook burgers to desired doneness
- 6.
- Spread buns with mayonnaise mixture. Top with lettuce, burger and mango salsa. Serve with pickles and salad
