Smoky Cheddar Burger Rezept

Zutaten

  •     Makes 6 servings 
  • 2   lb. baking potatoes, scrubbed and pierced 
  • 1   Tbs. seasoning mix, like Montreal steak seasoning 
  • 2   lb. ground beef 
  • 2   Tbs. steak marinade, like A1 
  • 6   slices smoked cheddar cheese 
  • 6   slices bacon, cooked till crisp 
  •     ½ small red onion, sliced 
  • 1   cup mayonnaise 
  •     ½ cup minced roasted red pepper 
  • 1   clove garlic, minced 
  • 1   lemon, zested and juiced 
  •     ½ tsp. Dijon mustard 
  • 6   hamburger buns 
  • 6   leaves Boston lettuce 
  • 6   slices tomato

Heat oven to 400ºF. Place potatoes in microwave and cook on high power 5 min. Remove, let cool 5 min. Cut into wedges. Place on foil lined greased baking sheet. Coat with cooking spray. Sprinkle with half the seasoning mix. Bake 10 min. Turn wedges, spray and sprinkle with remaining seasoning mix. Bake 5 min

In bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, red pepper, garlic, ¼ tsp. lemon zest, 1 tsp. lemon juice and ½ tsp. Dijon mustard

Heat grill. Grill buns briefly to toast. In bowl, combine beef and marinade. Shape into 6 patties. Cook patties to desired doneness. Place cheese over patties 3 min. before removing from grill

Spread buns with 1 Tbs. mayonnaise mixture. Top with lettuce, tomato, burger, onion slices and bacon. Serve with potato wedges and remaining mayonnaise
